I came down for japfest2024 and my drive shaft was making noise Jimmy the kind soul managed to fix it up for me. Turned out to be a small thing but thanks to him i managed to get back to Scotland without any problems on the same day. Big THANK YOU to you Jimmy.

If you got an other option please do not go to him, it's an absolute rip off. All the recovery guys recommend him and you know what is the reason. He will charge you three times for the original cost.

After the car breaking down at Silverstone (oh the irony!) and being towed by the amazing Ady from the AA, it ended up at JHB. I couldn’t have wanted a better mechanic and set up to sort it out. I was thrilled with the fair assessment, pricing and above all the care and consideration shown to me. Jimmy ensured that I was able to get back on the road to travel home (150miles) and even called to make sure I had made the journey back ok. Absolutely could not recommend highly enough and you will not be disappointed with his fabulous service and old school care. Thank you so much 😊

Excellent service! Jimmy has been a total credit to me and my classic VW; he has provided a completely honest, and top-notch service, and had the job done in a very fast turnaround. Repairs: - New alternator that other garages couldn't source. - New starter motor. - New full wheel bearing & housing kit Unfortunately a part that had been fitted was faulty from the manufacturer - I told Jimmy about this, and he got it swapped over charge-free in less than 24hrs. I'll definitely be using JHB Auto Repairs as my go-to garage. 10/10

I’ve been using JHB Auto, Jimmy, since he started and he remains as professional, knowledgeable and efficient as ever. I phoned him, took my car straight to his garage and had a diagnosis before my coffee had a chance to get cold!
